I am Bridget, the artist behind the brush. I grew up on the Jersey Shore, Long Beach Island to be exact. Just moments from the beach and minutes from the peaceful Pine Barrens. As a kid, my days were split between endless outdoor adventures in the woods and hours spent perfecting makeup looks in my room—long before YouTube tutorials were a thing! (Any Jaclyn Hill (circa 2015) fans out there?!) I was always the go-to makeup girl, but it wasn’t until I assisted on my first wedding at 24 that I knew bridal beauty was my true calling.

I currently live in Surf City with my partner, Mike, and our Australian Shepherd, Karma Sunshine. Together, we love growing our own food, supporting small local farms, and soaking up Mama Earth’s gifts through kayaking, paddleboarding, and hiking, all of which Karma accompanies! Furthering my love of nature, I have a plant problem. Currently hovering around 80 houseplants, which requires many humidifiers, warmth and fans… I’m convinced I was a lizard in a past life.

Yoga also plays a huge role in my life. I’m a 500-hour certified yoga instructor, Reiki practitioner, and co-owner of Bendy Jane Yoga. In fact, many of my tattoos are pieces inspired by my yoga journey. This connection to mindfulness and intentional care naturally flows into my work as a makeup artist, creating a calm and centered experience for every client and bride I work with.
